研究概要

本研究は種特異的な分子プローブを作成し、今まで形態学的には同定できなかった幼生期プランクトンを同定し、フローサイトメータを用いて、自動計測することを目的に研究を行った。自動計測は手法上の問題で実用化しなかったが、幼生期の同定はリアルタイムPCRを用いて実用化し、親潮域で優占する近縁3種カイアシ類の初期生活史(ノープリウス幼生期)を解明し、特に1種では、ノープリウス期に休眠期があることを初めて明らかにした。
