研究概要

日本列島の日本海側と太平洋側に存在する天然ガスや石油の生産に付随する鹹水中の沃素の同位体比、塩素の同位体比、溶存希ガスと水の安定同位体について測定を行いそれらの分布にプレートテクトニクス場の違いが影響しているか検討した。それらに地域的な違いは見られず、特に沃素の同位体比については従来の研究からその違いの可能性が示唆されていたが、そのような結果は得られなかった。
