研究概要

EBV(EBV)関連疾患の種痘様水疱症、蚊刺過敏症や慢性活動性EBV感染症の疾患スペクトラムを明確にし、各病態を細胞・分子生物学的に解析した。これらの疾患では、1)皮膚病変と血液症状に加えて、眼・口内・食道・腸管浸潤が重要な合併症であること、2)疾患関連EBV感染細胞は、種痘様水疱症ではγδT細胞、蚊刺過敏症ではNK細胞であること、3)発症にはEBVの再活性化と潜伏感染様式の変化が重要であること、4)患者は溶解感染関連EBV抗原に対して激しい細胞傷害性免疫応答を示すこと、5)EBV DNA量モニターの臨床的意義、6)治療薬としてのHDAC阻害剤の可能性について知見を得た。
