研究概要

わが国での肝移植の大半は生体肝移植であるが、近年のメタボリック症候群の増加に伴いドナー候補の脂肪肝が問題となっている。そこで脂肪肝モデルを作製し、その病態において肝移植と多くの共通点を有する虚血再還流障害や大量肝切除モデルを用いて脂肪肝グラフト部分肝移植において想定される機能不全の機序解明や治療法開発のための検討を行った。小胞体ストレス応答の関与など新たな知見が得られ、MHN-02, Follistatinなど新規治療法開発の可能性が示された。今後は臨床応用に向けて肝移植モデルでの研究を継続する。
