研究概要

本研究では環境保全に不可欠なバイオプロセスのメカニズムに数学的側面からアプローチするためにモデルの提案と解析法の確立及び数値的な解析手法の開発を行い,その結果によりバイオプロセスの有効な活用の促進に貢献する。生分解に関して得られたモデリングや解析手法を含む数学的研究結果を,生分解だけでなく生合成もカバーするバイオプロセスのメカニズムの数学的研究に拡張する。微生物によるポリマー解重合に関して得られた数学的結果を,水域の自然浄化作用の数学的研究に発展させることも目標とする。これま
で行なってきた微生物によるポリマー解重合の数学的研究と水域の流れの有限要素解析で得られた研究結果を基に,水質に関する数学モデルとその数値的な解析手法に関する研究を行なう。それによって水域における自然浄化のバイオプロセスのメカニズムを数学的に解析する方法を開発し,解析結果を提示することを目標とする。
