研究概要

視索前野性的二型核(SDN-POA)の細胞新生は雌雄ともに胎生期18日にもっとも多く認められたが、これら生後の神経核を形成する細胞総数に性差は認められなかった。ソマトスタチン発現細胞の発達時期による分布状況からSDN-POAの性差形成には、生後の細胞新生による増加というよりは、雄においてニューロンが神経核の中心から放射状に側方に移動したため性差が形成されたと推察された。
