研究概要

人咽喉頭知覚神経節終末TRPV1及びTRPM8作動刺激、人島皮質刺激の黒胡椒嗅覚刺激(JAGS2006)により、これまでの誤嚥予防薬を飲用不可能患者に対し、ドラッグガスデリバリーである黒胡椒嗅覚刺激パッチ製剤(特許)、及び、カプサイシン含有トローチ(現在、口腔内テープ剤)、メンソール含有誤嚥防止用ゼリー(特出)を産学連携開発し、段階的摂食再開ストラテジーを開発した。このストラテジー施行群は、非施行群に比べて、肺炎発症を抑制した(JAGS2010)。黒胡椒の匂いの前帯状回活性化作用を用いた食欲低下の施設入所障害児において、食事量・体重増加・栄養状態改善が認められた(Tohoku J Med, 特出)
