研究概要

(1)B型肝炎ウイルス(HBV)感染・複製機構の解明(1)HBVの複製とコア蛋白の産生量に相関があり、コアプロモーター領域の変異が複製に大きな影響を与えていることがわかった。(2)臨床的に単独感染の報告がない遺伝子型Gの複製メカニズムにもコア蛋白が関与していた。(3)HBVが感染可能な三次元肝細胞培養系を構築した。(2)肝病態進展メカニズムの解明:免疫不全状態で、遺伝子型Cやプレコア変異株による免疫系を介さない直接的な肝傷害を確認し、酸化ストレスが関与していた。
