若手研究(B)
世の中には,交通網や通信網などネットワーク構造を持つものが数多くみられ,またそれらにはある程度の故障が起きても対処できる構造が求められる.本研究では,ネットワークの耐故障性の基準の一つである連結度に関する問題としてよく知られている連結度増大問題と供給点配置問題に対し,効率的なアルゴリズムをいくつか提案した. また,これらの結果をネットワーク以外の問題にも応用するための拡張についていくつかの結果を得た.
