研究概要

前向きコホート研究である「九州・沖縄母子保健研究」の4ヶ月時追跡調査を実施した。4ヶ月時調査では、歯科衛生士が個別に訪問して口腔内を観察し、齲蝕の有無、歯周ポケットの測定、歯肉出血の有無、歯石の有無のチェックを行った。1180名が歯科疾患調査に参加した。3mmを超える歯周ポケットを持つ者は11.4%であり、アルコールの摂取と有意な正の関連を認めた。
