研究実績の概要 |
In the past JSPS fellowship period, we employed 2D substrates to construct metal-organic framework (MOF)-based nanoarchitected materials, achieving excellent capacitive deionization (CDI) performance. Our goal in the JSPS proposal was to discover high-performance CDI electrodes. To achieve this, we proposed several concepts and compared our performance with other published CDI reports, including: 1. Extraordinarily enlarged CDI performance by introducing a yolk-shell design, which was published in JACS. 2. Constructing nanofluidic polymeric mesochannels. 3. Introducing multi-electron transfer in redox-active polymers. In the future, we expect to continue realizing the controlled synthesis of MOF-based and other related nanoarchitectures and explore their potential for CDI applications.
