研究実績の概要

1. Work on a scientific article. While writing the paper I could better understand the theory around my study and the implications of the results from the experiments 2. Present the data at an international conference: Oral presentation at the 10th European Working Memory Symposium. I could not only gather experience on preparing an abstract and presentation, but I could also listen to other presentations and discussions between some of the most important researchers 3. Worked on planning future experiments

理由

During 2020 it was difficult to work as efficiently as other years because of the Covid-19 pandemic, it took time to adjust to the new way of conducting research. However, I believe that I have acquired important research skills related to publishing, online experiments and international conferences, even though it was also impossible to travel to international conferences or meetings.

今後の研究の推進方策

I will continue investigating the Hebb repetition effect in complex span memory tasks. My previous experiments gave some insights on which could be the mechanism behind the Hebb repetition effect in complex span tasks, pointing towards the position-item association. However, it is necessary to continue on this line of research in order to compile evidence towards such mechanism.
Moreover, I will continue working on publishin my research results and presenting them at national and international conferences.
