A Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project was carried out last year between two undergraduate Japanese students in my seminar at Kyoto University and two undergraduate Indonesian students.

理由
As planned, an online exchange related to COIL was carried out, and I presented the results of the research at two international conferences (one by invitation).

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
One more COIL exchange will be conducted this academic year. A new theoretical framework has resulted from our experience with these online exchanges and one more paper will be sent to an international journal for review. This paper has been accepted to be presented at the International Academy for Intercultural Research conference in the USA in July.

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
I was not able to invite international collaborating researchers due to COVID travel restrictions and conflicting schedules. I will host an international workshop during the next fiscal year.
