研究実績の概要 |
Based on extensive literature review, in-depth interviews of Japanese and French employees were conducted to identify the factors that promote emotional contagion and their effect on employee subjective well-being. In other words, the study investigates how positive and negative emotions are shared in the workplace. The results of these interviews were used to develop a quantitative questionnaire using vignettes to statistically verify findings. Four hundred and forty respondents in both Japan and France were surveyed. In FY 2022, 1 peer-reviewed paper in a leading international academic paper was published and 1 paper in a peer-reviewed international conference was presented. One chapter in a book was also published.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
We have studied the factors that promote subjective well-being in the workshop, and also those that promote the sharing of positive and negative emotions (emotional contagion) to understand how subjective well-being can be shared. To understand the effect of culture, qualitative and quantitative studies were done both in Japan and France. The next step in our research is to understand how organizations can nurture, share and leverage positive emotions in a remote work environment. An international comparative study in Japan and France will be conducted. Grant-in-aid for Scientific Research (C) has been granted for 2023-2025.
