研究実績の概要 |
In AY2021, I had a series of meetings with industry personnel and discuss the possibility to undertake the data collection in AY2022. One of the hotels I interviewed showed their interest in their employees’ well-being at work. I will continue the discussion with the CEO of that hotel chain and develop an instrument for data collection.
I also had a series of online meetings with my collaborators both in Australia and Sweden. We are currently preparing a manuscript systematically summarising the well-being studies in the hospitality industry.
Lastly, I and my collaborators in Australia have submitted a manuscript to a top-tier international journal, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. The manuscript is currently under review.

3: やや遅れている
理由
The ongoing COVID-19 situation affected the travel plans (domestic and international) and conducting face-to-face meetings with the collaborators and the representatives of potential data collection sites (hotels). Nevertheless, I strategically worked with them by using online platforms and conducted meetings. However, to proceed with this project on time, we do hope to resume our business travel in AY2022.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
In AY2022, I will first work on publishing the manuscript which is currently under review. Then, I will finalise the manuscript that I am currently working on with my collaborator in Sweden (summary of well-being study in the hospitality industry).
I will continuously discuss the plan with the CEO of the hotel chain company and try to undertake data collection.
Lastly, I plan to visit one of the collaborators (either Australia or Sweden) and conduct the data collection overseas.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
Due to the COVID-19 situation, domestic and international travels were disrupted. The unused funds from AY2021 will be reallocated after revising the AY2022 plans.
