研究実績の概要 |
(1)Results of LCX channel modelling: The LCX channel models over multipath environments have been analyzed and built using the geometrically based single-bounce (GBSB) MIMO model which considers both LOS and NLOS propagation paths. In addition, the capacity loss from Localization error for the proposed LCX-MIMO system has been analyzed and compared which shows the advantages of the proposed LCX system.
(2)Results of 2-D localization using multiple LCX cables: One LCX positioning method using two LCXs perpendicular to each other has been proposed to improve the positioning accuracy. The results show that the positioning performance integrating both location information using differential times of arrivals (DTOAs) is better than that of conventional parallel method.

理由
(1)For LCX channel modelling, it shows that the GBSB model can be used for LCX cable. Therefore, GBSB can be utilized for our proposed LCX cable. The analyzed LCX-MIMO model has been evaluated with measured data and shows the well-fitted results. The results are useful for further analyzing the relationship between user’s location and channel model. Therefore, the research target of first year is realized.
(2) The 2D localization method using two LCXs perpendicular to each other has been proposed, and its localization accuracy outperformed with that using two LCXs as parallel setting. It means the localization accuracy along LCX is better than that of vertical side which implies the existing of interactive localization methods. These results benefits the research targets of following year.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
(1)The LCX channel modelling will be further upgraded with the consideration of propagation patterns and antenna directional patterns. In addition, the number of reflection paths will be further increased for the channel model. The relationship between user location and channel model needs to become simpler for localization usage.
(2)The 2D localization method needs to improve its accuracy when considers the 3D scenarios over rich multipath fading environments. In addition, the interactive localization methods such as particle filter will be initially proposed.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
Due to the coronavirus situation, it is difficult to join some international conferences which saves the travel expenses. In addition, the measurement for channel modelling has not be operated which saves the lending fee of measurement devices.
We will reschedule the channel measurement for correct modelling and publication plan in following year.
