| 研究実績の概要 |
Due to the covid pandemic, the research plan to perform experiments with human participants could not be achieved.
We have, however, initiated the development of computer programs for the acquisition of behavioral and neuroimaging data.
We have also installed into the fMRI system a neuroimaging package for the acquisition of neuroimaging data, including Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy for the measurement of chemical concentration in brain areas of interest.

理由
The research plan has been delayed due to the covid pandemic.
The research could not be performed since the initial plan was to conduct experiments with a sample of human participants representative of the city population (non-college participants). However, recruitment of such participants was not possible due to constant alerts for the use of measures to counter the spread of covid.
Recruit of students has also been difficult since the university has taken measures such as online learning system to restrict social contact.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
This project will resume in July once alert levels regarding the covid pandemic are withdrawn.
From July, we will perform behavioral and neuroimaging experiments with the use of fMRI and acquisition of physiological visceral signals, including heart rate, respiration rate and blood pressure.

The research project could not be implemented due to the covid pandemic.
The budget will be used to conduct the behavioral and neuroimaging experiments as described in the original project.
