| 研究実績の概要 |
As of 31 March 2021, the questionnaire was developed and we had planned to visit to Thailand and Vietnam to train interviewers and to carry out the pilot study.
Initial plan was to take a survey (interview) from employees from RTCOH Japan, Ricoh (Thailand) Ltd and Ricoh Vietnam Company Limited during January-March 2021. However, due to COVID-19 situation, we were unable to proceed as planned.
Therefore, during reporting period, we have contacted researchers from National Institute of Occupational and Environmental Health, (Vietnam) and Mahidol University of Thailand to get the support for the data collection.

理由
Due to COVID-19, travel to Thailand and Vietnam has been cancelled. As a result of this, on-site interview became infeasible in all research sites including Japan, Vietnam and Thailand. Thus, we started negotiating with local researchers to handle the questionnaire survey instead of interview. Process of communication took longer than expected due to COVID-19. We agreed with Vietnam side and Thailand is still under negotiation. As such, overall process were slightly delayed.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
Plans for research until 31 March 2022 as follows: 1) Finalize the contract with Vietnam and Thailand (TBD) counterparts by end of May 2021; 2) Send questionnaire and collect data in Vietnam including procedure of ethical permission by end of December 2021(Thailand TBD); 3) Collect data from RICOH Japan 2021 (by end of Jan 2022); 4) Enter and organize the data 2021 (by end of March, 2022)
Data cleaning and organization will continue in 2022.

No work and no travel has been done due to the COVID-19. We decided to wait until COVID-19 calms down, thus, didnt proceed. Now, we decided to contract with local researchers to proceed.
