In the fourth year, we finalized the analysis of all patients included in the retrospective study. We included 205 rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients from the Japanese cohort and 74 patients from the Spanish cohort. Analysis showed that among Japanese RA patients receiving molecular targeted therapies, responders had a higher estimated daily intake of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-3 PUFA) compared to non-responders. Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified intake of n-3 PUFA rich fish at least once a week as an independent factor associated with improved outcomes. In the Spanish cohort, no difference in fish consumption was observed between responders and non-responders to molecular targeted therapies. We have finalized the manuscript and are preparing to send it to an international journal shortly after incorporating feedback and receiving approval from all co-authors. We launched the prospective study phase, recruited a total of 50 RA patients who initiated a new targeted therapy and completed dietary assessments. Thirty-two patients completed the second visit after a 3-month follow-up to assess their response to treatment. Data from these visits have been collected and incorporated into the database. However, given the design of the study, the analysis will be completed at the conclusion of the data collection for the two visits of all patients.
