| 研究実績の概要 |
This fiscal year, the investigator made progress on several research projects. One of which was the on-going project examining the cross-sectional relationship between gaming disorder and emotional disorder among children and adolescents. After the investigator finalized a study proposal, the research ethics committee reviewed and approved the study proposal. The investigator asked a research marketing company to administer questionnaires to individuals registered in their sampling pool. Data were collected from 120 children/adolescents and their parents. A research marketing company used the paper-and-pencil format to ensure that the child and parent could independently complete the questionnaire.
Second, the investigator also began a study investigating the one-year longitudinal relationship between gaming disorder and emotional disorder among adolescents. The investigator created a study proposal, and the research ethics committee reviewed and approved the study.
Third, the investigator also examined the cross-sectional and longitudinal relationship between smartphone addiction and internalizing among adults using existing research projects. The investigator completed the data analysis and started preparing a manuscript for publication.

The investigator had planned to finish analyzing the cross-sectional study. However, the fiscal year ended when data collection was completed. Also, the investigator had planned to begain collecting data at Wave 1 for the longitudinal study; however, the fiscal year ended when the study was approved by the research ethics committee.

Next year, the investigator plans to finish analyzing the cross-sectional study and present the findings. For the longitudinal study, the investigator will collect data at Wave 1 at the beginning of next year.
