My team and I have analyzed the TESS data to detect, vet, and validate the signals of thousands of planet candidates, and conducted follow-up observations confirming the discovery of dozens of planets. In addition, many of the planets orbit stars amenable to detailed characterization studies, so we have also determined planet densities and bulk compositions for a subset of the sample. Besides planet discovery and characterization, our work has also enabled the statistical study of planet-hosting stellar populations, constraining binary mass ratios and the period distribution. Finally, we have been able to obtain crucial new measurements of previously known benchmark planetary systems, yielding significant enhancements to our understanding of these important targets.
