We successfully achieved several on-chip biosensors. The biosensors enable reliable, high-sensitivity measurement of biomolecules and cells with negligible artifacts. This is enabled by the tailored optical fields in the biosensors. We used the biosensors to show >100x enhanced light-matter interaction with negligible artifacts. The proposed biosensors are expected to open up a reliable, high-content, high-sensitivity way for analysis of biomolecules.
