Moving away from development a final framework, we conducted more empirical studies into the development workflows. In terms of mapping proficiency, we utilized other artifacts such as the documentation. As part of the research plan, we conducted empirical studies to understand developer discussions not only in one projects, but across multiple ecosystems. We mined GitHub repositories, and retrieved the GitHub discussions. We also took a ecosystem approach to study their activities. In terms of the research plan, we completed the third phase of understanding the critical software ecosystems onboarding and sustainability. Key outcomes include datasets mapping developer activities with proficiency.
