研究実績の概要

Following the results of last year, the use of only autologous cells for the construction of the adipose ball tissues was further confirmed especially for the scale-up application. To reconstruct a human breast, a large number of ball tissue is needed, thus a new bioreactor was ordered and the culture of up to 1000 tissues at the same time was possible in this condition.
In parallel, one of our publication on this model which previously required additional RNA sequencing experiments during the reviewing process, to further prove the highest tissue survival of our model compared to the controls, was finally published. The results showed that the expression of the human genes related to the blood vessel formation, as well as the endothelial
cell proliferation and migration was found significantly enhanced in the vascularized tissue balls compared to the nonvascularized adipose tissue balls. It also confirmed that the human vascular component within the transplanted adipose tissue is preserved aven after 3 months of implantation.
