研究実績の概要 |
The synthesis of the new target has been advanced with the formation of the amphiphilic molecular motor functionalized with a chemical tag. As tag, we developed the synthesis of a rhodamine fragment which is very classic to be observed by optical microscopes. Now, just one chemical step is missing to connect the amphiphilic motor with long alkyl chains and the rhodamine fluorescent derivative needed to follow the molecule in the artificial membrane. The coupling was not efficient yet so new connection strategies will be pursued in the next year.

理由
The project has been slowed down due to the COVID-19 sanitary crisis but we plan to finish the synthesis of the final compound as soon as possible before testing its integration in artificial membranes hopefully in the middle of the next year.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
The synthesis of the target is not finished yet. We need to pursue our effort in its synthesis and characterization. After the synthesis will be achieved, the targeted amphiphilic motor will be fully characterized, including the absorption and emission properties necessary for its detection inside of an artificial membrane.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
Due to the covid-19 sanitary crisis, some students were not able to join us on time and some compounds necessary for our research have not been available for many months. This slowed down our research with an impact on the end of this project. In the next year, some consumables including chemicals, glassware, plasticwares will be purchased to promote the research project.
