研究実績の概要 |
I worked mainly on the self-assembly of cationic metal-organic polyhedra (MOPs) with anionic polyoxometalates (POMs). When soluble precursors solutions are mixed, a precipitate (POM-MOP) is formed instantly, with a crystalline ordering and porosity . POM functionality is enhanced when immobilized in the porous network , as demonstrated with hydrazine vapor reaction. This work was recently published in Chemical Communications. I also worked on ionic derivative of neutral MOPs. The synthesis was successful, and will enable the study of the physical chemistry properties for such macro-ions.

1: 当初の計画以上に進展している
理由
Despite COVID, some laboratory work could be performed. The results could be already summarized in an article. The project will continue with the combination of other MOPS, with other POMS or other types of functional ions.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
After a proof of concept concerning the assembly of POM and MOPs, we plan to expand the scope of structures. In particular, choosing other charges of POMs will allow to reach different types of network connectivity. Another topic of research will be the in-situ reduction of the POMs in the assemblies, to produce highly efficient sensor, or even chemically responsive networks.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
The fund will be used mostly to purchase chemical reagents, consumables and pay for external analytical services. I also consider buying small lab equipment (hotplate stirrer, pressure gauges,...) or glassware, depending on the project needs that may appear. Some software licenses will need renewal soon (Adobe illustrator notably), and some funds will be used to modernize informatic equipment in my office (Monitor and printer).
