| 研究実績の概要 |
(1) We develoed the data collection tools (1 questionnaire for managers, and 1 questionnaire for staff). Both questionnaires were translated into 15 languages (English, Arabic, Japanese, etc.).
(2) We invited research collaborators to participate in the study from different countries. More than 50 researchers from 15 countries agreed to participate in the study.
(3) We finished data collection in 13 countries (Japan, Egypt, Turkey, Spain, Brazil, etc.). More than 200 long-term care facilities and more than 2,000 healthcare personell participated in the study.
(4) The collected data were uploaded to statistical analysis software. Data cleaning and data analysis are ongoing.

理由
The data collection was delayed because of 2 reasons:
(1) Obtaining permission for the data collection (ethicl clearance, agreement from authorities, etc.) took long time than expected (in some countries, obtaining ethical clearance took about 8 months).
(2) The response rate (the number of long-term care facilities and the number of participants who agreed to participate in the study) was very low in several countries. The workload was high because of the COVID-19 pandemic. So, long-term care facilities staff were very busy.

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, data collection was delayed. Therefore, paper writting and and publication was delayed (no money was used for language editing or publication fees). Also, no money was used for domestic or international travel.
