| 研究実績の概要 |
A separate laboratory was constructed in Nitte University and some basic instruments were installed to run the normal test and analysis of the human samples. Study conducted from doctors of K S Hegde Medical college, Nitte University, Mangaluru. Health A total of 250 pregnant women are screened from April 2021 till May 2022 in Mangaluru district area covering 75-kilometer area. Majority of the house hold consumed well water (65 %) and 22% population borewell and rest semi processed municipal water. Sample size population consists of 48 % Hindus, 47 % Muslims and 3 % Christians with standard age ranging from 25 to 40 years with maximum women as house wife. During survey 91% women showed good appetite condition with poor family income, however, 38% women are above poverty condition.98% of survey samples are non-vegetarians with maximum (60%) of high school education. Previous pregnancy pattern showed without nay miscarriage. 9% of the pregnant women exposed to pesticides. 94 % of the women displayed the normal blood pressure with .140 glucose challenge. 93% of them showed the normal Thyroid stimulating hormone level. Microbiological analysis of the 100 water samples from the different villages were conducted.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
「インド地下水汚染地域における妊娠、出産および小児の発育・発達に関する研究」課題番号：20KK0222”,というタイトルのプロジェクトの3年目2022-2023年の間に
ウドゥピとカサラゴッドの妊婦健診を継続する予定です。詳細な健康診断や相談を実施する予定です。環境ホットスポットの水質および微生物学的分析を実施します。この調査目的のために、より多くの技術スタッフを任命する予定です。ウドゥピ、マンガロール、カサラゴッド地区で村レベルの健康キャンプを実施し、健康意識向上プログラムを実施する予定です。宮崎大学からプロジェクトの研究者と支援スタッフがNITTE大学を訪問し、二者間会議を行い、患者調査の監督を行い、そしてNITTE大学に新設されたプロジェクトラボを訪問する予定です。すでに調査され選ばれた妊婦の出産パターンは、NITTE大学病院で実施される予定です

Other members could not travel due to corona pandemic. The remianing money will be utilised once travel restrictions over by next year.
