研究概要

多くの癌は炎症を背景に発症する。一方発癌には多数の遺伝子異常の蓄積が必要である。本研究では、通常B 細胞のみに発現し、免疫グロブリンのクラススイッチや遺伝子変異を誘導して、その多様性獲得に必須の分子AID (activation-induced cytidinedeaminase)が、炎症によって組織に誘導され、その結果遺伝子変異を誘発することによって、炎症発癌に深く関与することを明らかとした
