研究概要

ヒトの記憶については心理学的・神経科学的な研究により数多くの知見が蓄積されてきたが、記憶の記銘や想起に伴って各脳領域が具体的にどのような役割を果たしているのかは依然として未解明の点が多い。本研究ではヒトの脳活動を間接的に測定することができる脳機能画像法と、脳損傷患者を対象とした神経心理学的研究によって、出来事そのものの記憶と、時間的文脈記憶、空間的文脈記憶、情報源記憶に関わる神経ネットワークを明らかにすることを目的とした。記憶想起における前頭前野の海馬領域への関与や情報源記憶における海馬領域の関与、さらには記憶を司る内側側頭葉内での領域による機能分化仮説を支持する所見を示した。
