研究概要

超平面配置は(群や環がそうであるように)単純な定義をもつが,決して簡単な対象ではない.初年度に,超平面配置に関するさまざまな視点を広く理解し,統合する立場に立つために,専門や世代を横断する研究組織を構築しえたのは大きな成果であった.結果として,組合せ論・代数幾何学・群論・リー環論・統計学などの多様な観点からの研究を行い,それらの相互関連を描出することに成功した.最も特筆すべきは,我々により22年度に発見され,今も発展し続けるワイル配置とベルヌーイ多項式との関連であろう.
