研究概要

病態時には脈管構造の劇的な変化、再構築がおこる。本研究では、血管・リンパ管新生を制御する VEGF 1 型受容体シグナリングの役割を、VEGFR-1 の細胞内ドメインの tyrosine kinase 部分を選択的に欠損したノックアウトマウス(TKKO)を作出し、 血管・リンパ管等の脈管新生が病態の発症・進展に役割を持つ病態モデルで解明することができた。Gene targeting や特異的中和抗体などの治療応用への基礎的検討を加えることができた。 さらに VEGFR-1 を発現する骨髄由来の細胞が脈管新生、 脈管構造の改変に役割を持つことを明らかにできた。
