研究概要

関節リウマチ(RA)や全身性エリテマトーデス(SLE)など自己免疫疾患患者の遺伝子発現プロフィールとIL-6阻害治療効果との関連解析から、病態形成に関わる分子群を同定した。その中で、S100ファミリー分子はRA患者における炎症反応のみならず、骨代謝の調節に関与することがわかった。また、SLEにおいてはミトコンドリアでのATP産生異常とDNA修復分子(ERCC2, ERCC5)の発現低下を見出した。これらの異常はSLEの病態形成に関わる可能性がある。
