研究概要

ノロウイルス、サポウイルスの新しいウイルス様粒子を作製した。新しいまたは改良した遺伝子診断、免疫学的診断(イムノクロマト法)を開発した。ロタウイルス、ノロウイルス、サポウイルス、アストロウイルスに続きアイチウイルス、パレコウイルス、ボカウイルス、サフォルドウイルスなどのウイルスの分子疫学を行い新しい知見を得た。マウスノロウイルスを代替えとして消毒薬、加熱、母乳の抗ウイルス効果を見た。ノロウイルスの細胞培養系の確立を試みたが成功しなかった。ノロウイルスとサポウイルスの組織血液型抗原(HBGA)との結合性を唾液、腸管組織で調べた。ノロウイルスの結合はあるもサポウイルスは見出せなかった。
