研究概要

中国の日本住血吸虫症の流行撲滅のために必要な新規の対策ツールを検証した。感度、特異性に優れた検査法としてLAMPによる遺伝子検査は従来法で見逃した感染を検出し、且つ流行現場で実施可能であることを実地調査で確認した。また、中間宿主貝の分布予測とリスク評価へのGISの有用性を検討し、モニタリング効率改善に有用であることが確認出来た。以上、簡便な新規対策ツールを応用した流行終息に不可欠な疾病対策戦略モデルを構築した。
