研究概要

移動能力を有するエンティティ(モバイル計算粒子(MobileComputationalParticle:MCP)と呼び, MCPと略記する)から構成される分散システムの特徴を,システムの規模,機器の計算能力,機器の移動能力,通信能力の多様性,システムの不確実性の観点から分析し,自律的分散ロボット群,創発現象,分子計算までを包括するモバイル計算粒子を要素とする分散システムに内包する本質的な特性を解明し,モバイルネットワークとして統一的な取扱いを可能とするモデル化を行い,そのモデル化を利用して,モバイルネットワークの理論的計算限界を明らかにした.個々の分散システムで構築したモデルで見直すことによって,従来の未解決問題に対する新たな視点を与えること及び,新たな問題の創造の可能性を実証した.
