本調査によって、セラヤリーズ語は、埋め込み文を1つ持つWH疑問文において、論理的可能なチェインの組み合わせ(movement and resumptionの組み合わせ)全て4通りを容認することを示した。これは、アイルランド語において、埋め込み文を1つ持つWH疑問文においてmovement and resumptionの組み合わせによる6つの論理的可能なチェインが存在することと並行的であり、本研究は、人間言語のチェイン形成は、movementとresumptionを原理的に自由に使用できることを証明した。さらに、本調査によって、スペイン語のWH移動と主語述語の倒置の間には相関がなく、スペイン語は、これまで、可視的連続循環移動を示す言語であると考えられていたが、そうではないことが明らかになった。
