研究概要

従来の国家主義的、または形而上的な正義を追及する国際歴史教科書対話が、歴史観の絶対性の前提を無批判に内包する問題を指摘した。さらに、学校教育から獲得する公的な歴史は、児童・生徒がもつ歴史認識の構築にメディアや市井から獲得する歴史認識ほどに大きくないことを実証した。そのうえで、歴史教育の目的は、外的に構築された歴史認識の伝承ではなく、歴史的手法を活用する方法論の修得に設定すべきであることを論じた。
