研究概要

難治性病態における急性期蛋白糖鎖応答のダイナミズムと糖鎖機能改変モデルの構築を目的に,炎症に伴って上昇する血中糖蛋白(α1酸性糖蛋白)を,ウシ血清およびネコ腹水から精製分離し,またウシ,ネコ,マウスにおいて組換え蛋白発現・精製を行い,糖鎖解析のためのモノクローナル抗体作製を試み,各動物に対して異なるエピトープを認識する抗体を得た.さらに,ウシ白血病やネココロナウイルス感染症(伝染性腹膜炎)での血中上昇・糖鎖変調等がみられること,本蛋白遺伝子のmRNA検出が可能となったことから,基礎研究への応用が期待される.
