研究概要

肺線維症の線維化病変においてさまざまな細胞起源由来線維芽細胞の存在が証明された。その中で血管内皮間葉系細胞転換による線維化病変は低酸素状態をもたらしうる。遷延化低酸素状態は線維化微小環境として更なる線維化および肺構成細胞間葉系形質転換を介した線維芽細胞誘導をもたらすことを明らかにした。これらの知見は、線維化形成における誘導因子を解明することにつながり新たな治療標的を確立できると考えられた。
