研究実績の概要 |
An analytical investigation was conducted on the vibration control effects of coupled vibration control (CVC) structures incorporating negative stiffness as the connecting spring element between the mainframe and subframe. The basic characteristics of negative stiffness as the connecting device were assessed by investigating the transfer function of the vibrating models. The seismic response of CVC structures incorporated with negative stiffness at the connecting portion were numerically investigated. Coupled structures with different natural periods and structural parameters were used for the linear and nonlinear time history seismic response simulation under various earthquake motions. The analysis proved an effective control performance of CVC structures by optimized negative stiffness.
