研究実績の概要 |
I have published four papers in international refereed journals within this project theme. The main results of each paper can be summarized as follows 1. Private firms, particularly construction firms, respond to regional favoritism from top politicians by following specific incentives. 2. Birthplace favoritism from top politicians might not result in better quality of education in their home districts. 3. Industrial zones help to increase number of firms and employment in the local areas, even after excluding zone-based firms. Private partnership in the zone infrastructure developers works best in attracting firms to the industrial zones. 4. Heat impacts on the test taking performance regardless the origin of students. However, some group students are more vulnerable than others.

理由
I completed three proposed topics in the plan as discussion papers. In addition, I published four papers in international refereed journals.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
My main plan is to bring the existing papers for conferences, revise and improve them until they are accepted for publications in international refereed journals. In addition, I will expand the theme toward differences in investment in human capital and its influences to later-life (labor) outcomes.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
The difference is because of fluctuation in market price and sending fees. The difference should be used to adapt to changes in prices and contingencies in the next fiscal year.
