研究実績の概要 |
In 2022-2023, I created a collaborative learning community in each of the four correspondent schools, and I participated online in various Lesson Study classes held by teachers of different subjects. I recorded the videos for further reference in my study. In October 2022, I paid a visit to the schools in Egypt on a two-week business trip. I observed many classes and attended the Lesson Study preliminary sessions and post lesson Reflective sessions held by the teachers. We discussed the current situation of each school and explored new possible ways for effective collaboration between the teachers towards raising the capacity of the teachers with the aim of developing new teaching methods that may involve students more in the classroom and develop their autonomous learning with focus on applying the Tokkatsu concept. I conducted a questionnaire within the four schools. Participation in the questionnaire was voluntary. From this questionnaire, I will collect the data that will help me shape my next steps with the schools. I plan to visit the four schools again in October 2023 to extend our collaboration and invite new participants to deepen the culture of communities of practice and expand the learning communities in each school.

理由
昨年度は教育省の許可を得た上で、該当の学校と順調に調査や協働研究を進めることができた。4校とも学校の発展や教師の資質能力を育成し、協働的に実践するコミュニティの文化の設立を目指し、熱意を持ち、あらゆる面で協力してくれた。オンライン授業やその前後の協議会や振り返りのセッションに生配信で参加させてもらう場合もあれば、録画して送付してもらう場合もあった。学校の熱心さや協力感が得られたために、順調に進めることができた。

今後の研究の推進方策 |
Based on the data gathered from the questionnaire I conducted in 2022, I will shape my future steps with my collaborative parties. I will provide more support for the schools that are struggling and will open new windows for collaboration between schools to create further opportunities of collaboration and mutual learning through discussion and sharing of practices. I will hold a small Roundtable between the correspondent schools in Egypt. I will hold another Roundtable between some schools in Egypt and the University of Fukui attached school to create further learning opportunity beyond borders. This Roundtable will be expected to create a great opportunity for both the Egyptian and the Japanese teachers to discuss their practice and share their experience with each other.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
一年目は予定通りに進まなかったため、金額が余った。昨年度は予定通りに進んだが、一年目から余った分は使いきれなかったので、まだ余っている。 学会参加や現地訪問と調査に使い、研究の継続と推進に使用するつもりである。
