研究実績の概要 |
1.A micro-experimental jig was designed and prepared to facilitate the micro-droplet corrosion testing, acoustic emission (AE) monitoring, in-situ video microscope (VM), and X-ray computed tomography (CT) scanning; 2.A visualization of a single pit-to-crack transition on SUS420J2 steel was revealed with specific AE signal evolution and X-ray CT observation; AE signals of hydrogen-bubble evolution and cracking were specifically separated owing to the k-means clustering method; 3.Evolution of pitting corrosion on AZX912 Mg alloy and AA5083 Al alloy was well monitored by AE signals and real-time microscopic in-situ observation; Passive-film rupture and hydrogen bubble evolution were well recognized by AE signals.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
In the second fiscal year, all studies will focus on experimental investigation on the hydrogen trapping during corrosion, which will be correlated the hydrogen-AE signals. 1.Regarding the droplet corrosion testing of high-strength alloys of SUS420J2, AX41, AA5083 alloys, a series of experiments interrupted at different points will be performed by integrated with TDS analysis to investigate the contents of corrosion-induced hydrogen trapping; 2.Corrosion-induced hydrogen entry into alloys will be correlatively analyzed with the various AE signals parameters and corrosion morphological aspect ratio. 3.Extra attention will also be placed on the AE signals during cathodic charging and the H-charging induced hydrogen trapping in metals.

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
1. Regarding the travel expenses, no travel for academic activity was done because of the covid-19 pandemic last year; The relevant budget will be planned for participating in an international conference and several domestic conferences this fiscal year. 2. Article costs: it was planned to purchase a small environmental testing device for my experimental studies, but the price exceeds the budget amount of the previous fiscal year. So the budget from the previous fiscal year and the next fiscal year will be used together for the purchase of the environmental testing device.
