量子相転移の物理の革新 ―トポロジカル量子臨界、多重量子臨界と新量子相―

研究概要

系のトポロジー変化によって特徴づけられる量子相転移や、1次相転移の浸み出し効果のあるような、特異な量子臨界点がその周りに引き起こす新奇な量子臨界性（マージナル量子臨界性や多重量子臨界性）の特質を解明した。三重量子臨界点近傍に生み出される波数ゼロのゆらぎの発散が今まで知られていなかった、非フェルミ液体のふるまいを生み出すことを明らかにした。トポロジカル絶縁体とゼロギャップ半導体の間の相転移が対称性の破れと、トポロジーの変化による相転移の両方の性格を持ち、特異な臨界性を示すことを明らかにした。マージナル量子臨界点近傍に生み出される高温超伝導の機構を明らかにした。
