研究概要

米国アポロ計画で回収された月表層土(レゴリス)を分析し、その3次元粒子物性や分光特性を検討した。これと月探査機「かぐや」で得られたリモートセンシングデータ(分光データ)を用いて月表面土壌の風化度や初期マグマ形成に関わる化学組成分布を推定した。また、それらの分光解析に及ぼす表層土の堆積構造の影響を実験的に検討した。更に、粒子シミュレーションにより、土壌の風化度から土の力学特性(かさ密度、圧縮・せん断強度など)を推定する手法の検討を行った。これらの結果を基に、将来の月探査計画についての提案を行った。
