研究概要

ソルボース発・ジヒドロキシアセトン発酵・酢酸発酵を中心に酢酸菌「酸化発酵」に関与する膜結合型キノプロテインやFAD酵素,及びその酸化呼吸鎖についての分子レベルの研究をすすめ
それらの(1)酸化反応における電子移動経路の解明
(2)新規な基質酸化反応の発見
(3)細胞内資化代謝系酵素の解明などを行うとともに
生化学的解析と情報科学的解析によって,これまで知られていなかった新規な酸化発酵系酵素を見いだした。
