昆虫の湿度感覚に関わる前大脳高次情報処理についての生理学的形態学的研究

研究概要

ワモンゴキブリの前大脳の同定可能ニューロンの湿度応答について細胞内記録・染色法によって調べた。その結果、触角葉マルチ出力ニューロン、キノコ体出力ニューロンおよび中心体ニューロンが湿度応答を示し、前大脳側角の局所および出力ニューロンには多様な湿度・温度応答パターンを示した。側角後腹領域の外縁部にも湿度・温度刺激に応答するニューロンがあり、この部分も湿度・温度情報処理の中枢機能をもっていることが示唆された。このほか触角葉糸球体の分布なども明らかにした。
