研究概要

本研究の主たる成果は、歯科領域における光干渉断層画像診断法(SS-OCT)の開発を行い、歯牙硬組織診断装置として実用化に近づけたことである。従来の歯牙硬組織の画像診断には、デンタルX線が用いられてきたが、OCTにおいては撮影に際して×線の被爆を避けることができる。
