| 研究実績の概要 |
The researcher (Fuyuko Takita, Ph.D>) has collaborated closely with Dr.Russel Kabir (assistant professor at Hiroshima University) along with two oveseas co-researchers, Dr.Ingrid Bartels at HANS university, Holland and Dr.Mikael Sondergaard, Aarhus University, Denmark. The principal investigator has visited Dr.Bartels and Dr,Sondergaard in Holland and Denmark and worked for ten days to share research data and ideas through lectures and workshops in August, 2022. All the necessary data has been collected, and the analysis was completed for our pilot study. The principal investigator has presented twice based on the findings of this study. The first paper of this study will be published in MDPI Sustainability Journal (impact factor: 3.251) in June, 2023.

理由
As we planned originally, we have gathered all the necessary data, and analysis was done with the use of Cultural Intelligence and BEVI. Further, we have written our first article at MDPI Journal, Sustainability. We are planning to conduct a cross-cultural negotiation simulation exercise role-play between Dutch students at HANS University in Holland and Japanese students at Hiroshima University in Japan in May, 2023. This second pilot study is proceeding smoothly as originally planned, and we are planning to present at international conferences and publish another article based on this study by the end of 2023.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
The next step for this research study is to complete a virtual cross-cultural negotiation exercise role-play between HANS University in Holland and Japanese students at Hiroshima University. Students already have met once,and will meet online via zoom to conduct a cross-cultural negotiation. All the student participants will take CQ (Cultural Intelligence) test and BEVI (the Beliefs, Events, and Values Inventory) test. Once all the data is collected for this second pilot study, the researchers will meet again in Holland at HANS University in September, 2023 and conduct analysis and write a manuscript based on the findings of this study to submit to an international journal with a high impact factor (such as MDPI). We are also planning to present at International conferences in 2023.
